Vinyasa Yoga
Synonymous with movement, Vinyasa Yoga connects one posture to the next using the breath, commonly known as “Flow Yoga.” Students move in and out of postures with guided breath to move through well-intentioned sequences. The classes begin with a dharma talk that helps to provide a lesson or a theme for the class, guided meditation to help students ground and center, followed by a vinyasa yoga flow, and concludes with savasana. This is a great class for all levels of yoga practitioners from beginners to advanced with many options to modify and deepen your practice.

Types of Vinyasa Classes:

Sun Up, Warm Up

Coined as a nice, warm hello to wake up the body and feel energized at the start of the day, this yoga class begins with a short group meditation to ground and center, followed by a steady, yet invigorating yoga flow for all levels, and concludes with relaxing poses that help to open up the body, mind, and spirit followed by savasana. This is the key class to warm up and kickstart your day.

Power Yoga

This is the yoga class that puts the "P" in Power. This vinyasa yoga class features a yoga flow that intelligently sequences one move into the other, (like a dance) while inserting empowering poses that politely challenge the body and mind that will help you discover the strength that was always within you. This class concludes with calming poses and savasana

Align + Restore

This class is a great way to calm down the body after a long day while working on yoga poses to help align your body movements. With a concentration on deep stretches and proper alignment, this is the class that will help you feel more confident and calm. The class will conclude with a lightly guided meditation and deep and long savasana (rest).

Seasonal Yoga Classes

Yoga in the Park (seasonal) - Long Island, NY

Connecting nature to movement, students practice in a local park to move through guided poses and explore the breath and ground in nature.

Sunset Yoga on the Beach (June - early September) Long Beach, NY  Connecting yoga with oceanic vibes, this gentle beginners class is a great way to elevate your relaxation. This class includes light, easy movement, guided meditation, a small ritual guided by Jen, and concludes with a deep, long savasana, listening to the ocean waves as your soundtrack.

Guided Meditation

Focused on a different theme every session, guided meditation will help students to ground into states of calm, peace, and balance, using light and gentle instructions to deepen their breath and focus. Guided meditation gives students the space to explore stillness and practice becoming one-pointed, aiding in emotional well-being and overall health and providing the tools to navigate every stress level.
